How Holia collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information across our website, app, subscriptions, and AI-assisted features.

This Privacy Policy explains how Starii Innovation Pte. Ltd. ("Holia," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Holia website, mobile app, and related services.

This policy applies to Holia's website, mobile app, account system, subscription features, customer support interactions, and AI-assisted product features.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use Holia.


1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use Holia, and limited information from service providers that help us operate the product.

This may include:

  • account information, such as your email address, sign-in identifier, nickname, or account status;
  • kitchen profile information, such as stove type, cookware type, cooking preferences, and dietary preferences;
  • content you submit, such as ingredient photos, cooking-step photos, finished dish photos, support messages, feedback, and cooking questions;
  • subscription and entitlement information, such as purchase status, plan type, renewal status, and transaction-related records;
  • device, log, and technical information, such as device type, operating system, app version, language, IP address, crash data, and basic diagnostic information;
  • product usage information, such as recipes viewed, searches, favorites, cooking starts, step progress, completion feedback, and feature interactions;
  • website security and delivery information, including limited cookie or similar technology data used for site protection, fraud prevention, and service reliability.

If you sign in through an affiliated or third-party account service, or complete purchases through platform payment systems, we may also receive the identifiers or status information needed to provide access to your account or subscription.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to operate Holia and improve the product experience.

This includes using information to:

  • create and maintain your account;
  • adapt recipe steps, heat guidance, and cookware guidance to your kitchen profile;
  • provide photo-based recipe recommendations and cooking issue diagnosis when you choose to use those features;
  • manage subscriptions, validate entitlements, and provide paid features;
  • measure product performance, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve reliability;
  • respond to support requests, complaints, and feedback;
  • comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

3. Third-Party Services

Holia uses a limited set of service providers and affiliated service tools to operate the product.

These may include:

  • affiliated account and sign-in services, including MTAccount and MTSSOShareKit;
  • affiliated payment and subscription services, including MTPayWindow, MTSubscriptionSDK, MTIAPSDK, and MTPayBase;
  • affiliated analytics services, including MTAnalytics;
  • attribution and campaign measurement services, including Adjust, where enabled;
  • platform services provided by Apple, including App Store distribution and in-app purchase infrastructure;
  • infrastructure and delivery providers such as Alibaba Cloud and Cloudflare;
  • trusted AI service providers used to support user-initiated recommendation or diagnosis features.

Some of these providers act on our behalf, while others may process information under their own terms and privacy policies when they provide platform-level services.

4. Storage and Security

We store and process information on systems operated by us or our service providers, including infrastructure hosted in Singapore and global delivery or security services used to operate the website and app.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, such as access controls, internal permission limits, logging, and security review processes.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information:

  • with service providers and affiliated processors that help us operate accounts, subscriptions, hosting, analytics, security, attribution, and AI-assisted features;
  • with Apple or other platform providers when needed to process purchases, validate subscriptions, or deliver app-related services;
  • with advisors, auditors, or professional service providers where reasonably necessary;
  • when required by law, regulation, court order, legal process, or lawful government request;
  • when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Holia, our users, or the public;
  • in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, to the extent permitted by law.

6. AI-Assisted Features

Holia uses AI in two different ways.

First, some recipe copy, structured guidance, images, or media assets may be pre-generated or refined through backend AI-assisted content workflows.

Second, when you actively use user-facing AI features, such as photo-based recipe recommendations or cooking issue diagnosis, the photos, text, and step context you submit may be processed by our systems and by trusted AI service providers in order to return a result.

Unless you explicitly agree otherwise, we do not use your uploaded photos, questions, or cooking issue descriptions to train public general-purpose models.

We process these inputs only to provide the requested feature, improve product quality, maintain safety, or troubleshoot service issues as permitted by law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request information about how your personal information is processed.

You may also be able to:

  • withdraw permissions you granted on your device;
  • request deletion of your account or submitted content;
  • object to or request restriction of certain processing;
  • appeal a privacy decision where required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

Holia is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without valid consent where consent is required.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information in violation of applicable law, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

9. International Transfers

Because Holia uses international infrastructure and service providers, personal information may be processed or stored outside your country or region, including in Singapore or other locations where our providers operate.

When cross-border transfers apply, we take reasonable steps to protect personal information in accordance with applicable law.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Holia, maintain account and subscription records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, the feature involved, and legal or operational requirements.

11. Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your account or certain personal information by using available in-product account deletion tools or by contacting privacy@holia.com.

We may retain limited information after a deletion request where necessary for security, fraud prevention, financial reporting, subscription recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or compliance with applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on the website, in the app, or through another appropriate notice channel, and we will update the effective date or last updated date shown above.
